new pattern in the shop

June 13, 2011

Way back in 2005 we designed our first fabric collection; Love Joy Peace. The projects we designed for this collection were to inspire a new generation of quilters. They were projects for all life’s special moments, baby quilts, wedding quilts, college  quilt, pillows and a simple lap quilt were the projects we choose for our book. Then there were the projects that appeared in the many magazines that also believed in our idea. American Patchwork and Quilting. We were lucky enough to attend Spring Quilt Market with RJR Fabrics and were able to meet the editors of APQ in person to discuss the B is for baby project and share ideas for the layout

So that as they say is History and we thought it was time to release B is for Baby as a  PDF pattern available in our Etsy shop.

Here are the projects from our book I have asked Myra to post this book for sale in our shop.

Here is a collage showing the projects.

Maybe I can dig up some more pictures of magazine projects we did with this fabric collection. (AND, sorry we don’t have any of this fabric left)

Here is what I found!

1) Love Joy Peace Fabric collection

2) “Diamonds are Forever” – Quiltmaker

I LOVE that book!! I am actually working on “Baby Blessings” right now only using charm squares and enlarging it a bit as a last minute wedding gift. The couple’s last name begins with a “B” so that worked out perfectly. I do have a little of that fabric left – I have squandered it over the years and have only doled it out sparingly for special occasions. This quilt is for my nephew so I will use some of my prized fabric for the side border.
