Cooking with Cori

Fluffy Cheese Biscuits

1 cup Flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
3 tsp baking powder
4 Tbsp shortening (I use margarine)
1/2 cup water

Combine Flour, baking powder and salt. Rub in shortening. Add cheese and water. Drop from a Tablespoon on greased and floured pan. Bake @450 for 10 min. Quick and Easy!

This is my mother in law’s recipe. I have always loved biscuits, however I don’t like rolling dough. These are so easy but so yummy. This recipe is so quick and easy that they make a great snack or a compliment to a meal. Enjoy!
